The Seafox 8 will be based on Keppel’s KFELS J Class design. This unit was specifically developed to address a gap in the current P&A market, combining P&A services, well-intervention services, and accommodation/crane support services. As a three legged jack-up equipped with 161.5 meters of leg length, the Seafox 8 is capable of operating in harsh environments in up to 100 meters of water depth all year round (including during the North Sea’s winter period). 

The Seafox 8 has a Persons on Board (POB) capacity of 282 with NORSOK-specified accommodation for crew and client personnel and will include three cranes with lift capacity of up to 500 tons. The accommodations will be high quality for those on board thanks to various leisure facilities and additional health and well-being amenities.
